In AFALcontigo we provide INFORMATION and ORIENTATION regarding TECHNICAL AIDS available in the market:
- Technical aids owned by us or donated that AFALcontigo lends to its members. Each article requires a deposit of 30€
- Material that is reimbursed by IMSALUD, ISFAS and MUFACE.
- Orthopaedics and private resources. AFALcontigo provides advice prior to the purchase of technical aids, which we have divided into four groups:
- a. Mobility and transport aids: walkers, outdoors wheelchairs, indoors wheelchairs, mobility cranes, platforms for wheelchairs, staircase lifts, etc.
- b. Bathroom and hygiene aids: fixed toilet seats, rotational bather for bathtub, bath boards, aquatex system, raised toilet seats, wall mounted toilet seats, toilet chairs, male and female bed pans, phlegm suction pump, etc…
- c. Rest aids: articulated beds, articulate mattresses, anti-scab mattresses, anti-scab cushions, resting sofas.
- d. Meal aids: cutlery, crockery, thickening products, bibs, etc…
Other aids for everyday life: For cognitive stimulation, food preparation, etc.
